Aromas of ripe berry and dark chocolate with some coffee bean, following through to a full body with round, creamy tannins. Stone and walnut undertones. Slightly woody finish.
About the Producer: From Chateau Monbousquet, the Cru Classe Chateau in Saint Emilion with a history going back many centuries and a modern era starting with the purchase of the Chateau by Gerard Perse in 1993, this is their second label, named for Gerard's daughter. Produced from the same terroir as the first wine, and vinified in the same careful manner.
