Appearance: Deep red.

Nose: Black fruit, pencil lead, and forest floor.

Taste: An abundance of blackberry, cassis, and vanilla flavors. The tannins are smooth yet firm, giving a velvety texture to the wine.

Finish: Long & lingering.

About the producer: A self-taught winemaker, Charles Smith is a true artisan and a pioneer in the wine world.
