The Gauldrons Whisky with Gift Tube (700ml)

The Gauldrons Campbeltown Malt Scotch Whisky tells the story of the eponymous dark, stormy coves on Campbelltown’s west shores, and means “Bay of Storms”. A marriage of the finest Campbeltown Malts, bottled in very small batches at 46.2% ABV, and proudly without colouring or chill-filtration. The Gauldrons is one of Douglas Laing's Remarkable Regional Malts.

Appearance: Golden amber in colour.

Nose: Opens with sea air, gentle smoke, manuka honey and a hint of dried seaweed.

Palate: Initially shows a maritime character, leading to sugary shortbread, dried oak and grisly cereals.

Finish: A distinctly spicy finish bringing puffs of smoke, Madagascan vanilla and cinnamon pancakes.

About the Brand: Occupying a remote location, even by Campbelltown’s standards, on the extreme west coast of Scotland, The Gauldrons means “bay of storms”.
