Cent’Anni Baccolo Apassimento IGT (750ml)

This popular Veneto red's juicy rich style is achieved by partial natural air-drying of the grapes (a mix of merlot and corvina) to add richness. There is moreish black cherry and leather on the nose, with more spice developing on the palate and finish. Baccolo is a tribute to the ancient wine divinity, Bacchus. Following the tradition of super Venetian wines they crafted a unique blend obtained partially by dried grapes, this technique is called “appassimento”.
Appearance: Dark Bordeaux.
Nose: Intense with spices and ripe fruit notes.
Taste: Round and persistent in the mouth.
Food Pairing: Roasted red meats and hard mature cheeses.
