Simonsig Chenin Blanc was the first wine released by founder Frans Malan in 1968. Over the years, this wine has gone from strength to strength. Chenin Blanc embraces its versatility and showcases multi-layers of fresh fruit. This wine is a true expression of Simonsig terroir. 

Appearance: A brilliant clear colour. 

Nose: A burst of tropical and stone fruit aromas ranging from passion fruit and melon to yellow flesh peach. 

Taste: A beautifully structured palate with layers of grapefruit, pear and tropical fruits. Lively acidity contributes freshness and length making this an exceptional summer wine. 

About the producer: Founded in 1971 on true Cape hospitality and strong family values, Simonsig is now helmed by the 3rd generation of the Malan family. The late Frans Malan, a pioneer of the South African wine industry and superior wine craftsperson, cemented the estate's legacy in South African wine history.
