A ruby red color, with light garnet reflections. The scent is rich on the nose, with notes of fruit from the undergrowth that alternate with spicy and woody nuances. The taste on the palate is full-bodied, rich, perfectly balanced. It closes with a persistent finish. It is a very versatile wine, to drink throughout the meal. Magnificently accompanies ground menu and is enhanced with mixed grilled meat and medium-aged cheeses. Try it with chopped lamb chops.
About the Producer: Fantinel was founded in 1969, when restaurateur and hotelier, Paron Mario Fantinel, acquired his first vineyards in the Collio area of northern Friuli.
