With the Gaja Sori San Lorenzo Barbaresco comes a first-class red wine in the glass. Here it shows a wonderfully dense, crimson color. If the glass is held somewhat obliquely, a transition of the shade in the direction of garnet red can be seen at the edges. This dry red wine from Gaja is ideal for purists who like it absolutely dry.The finale of this red wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region, more precisely from Barbaresco DOCG, captivates with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and limestone.
Nose: Dense aromas of compote of quince and strawberry jam reveal the complexity of Gaja Sorì San Lorenzo Barbaresco. It is extremely rich showing red apple and pomegranate, together with notes of fully-ripe strawberry and blackberry.
Taste: On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety and dense texture.
