Lapostolle Le Petit Clos Cabernet Sauvignon (750ml)

Although Le Petit Clos maybe considered the second wine of Clos Apalta, it is a different interpretation of its distinctive terroir and undergoes the same precise winemaking as the Grand Vin. The vintage is a blend of 53% Carménère, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon 12% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot, with an aromatic nose of red fruits, spices and a touch of vanilla. It is a full-bodied wine, with a lush texture and round tannins.
Clos Apalta gave birth to its second wine, Le Petit Clos de Clos Apalta, in order to offer a different interpretation of this unique terroir, using the same grapes, but in different proportion, and offering young vines a chance to prove their worth before thay can make it into the Grand Vin.
