Enrique Foster Ique Malbec (750ml)

Enrique Foster Ique Malbec: Produced in the prestigious Mendoza region of Argentina, this Malbec showcases the intense flavors and robust nature of the grape.

Vinification: The first purpose-built winery in the world to produce only Malbec varietals by gravity flow. At each stage of winemaking, cranes and a multi-level freight elevator combine to move the wine without pumping, thus avoiding its detrimental effects on the wine. Aging takes place in barrels of French and American oak.

Appearance: Intense purplish red.

Nose: Aromas such as ripe plum, ripe toasted cherries, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla berries. It has fruity aromas such as blueberry jelly, and ripe strawberry, and spicy aromas such as black pepper.

Taste: A velvety, complex wine, with silky tannins that invite us to taste it again.

Finish: Long and lingering.

Food pairings: Ideal wine to accompany seasoned poultry, veal or fish, red meat, and food with creamy and dairy sauces. Excellent with chocolate.

About the producer: Enrique Foster and his partner and winemaker, Mauricio Lorca, have built a state-of-the-art winery where all Foster and Lorca wines are produced. The winery was designed to produce wines of great character with the guiding principle of producing wines that reflect Argentinian terroir, emphasizing those qualities that are unobtainable in other parts of the world.
