Lapostolle Cuvée Alexandre Merlot (750ml)

Merlot Cuvée Alexandre contains a 4% dash of Cabernet Franc from Apalta and was 100% aged in used barrels for 10 months.

Appearance: Ruby red. 

Nose: Red fruit aromas such as cherries and strawberries with fresh herbs aromas and a touch of vanilla. 

Taste: On the palate, it is silky with an elegant attack, medium-bodied with plums and cherry flavors.

Food pairings: Enjoy with homemade pastas such as beetroot capeletti stuffed with cheese and pistachios or turkey panzotti and bolognese sauce.

About the producer: Named to honor the family’s legacy of fine wines and spirits dating back to 1827, the Cuvée Alexandre wines are produced entirely from Apalta estate grapes.
