La Révérence Merlot (750ml)

This wine has a lovely intensity to it. A youthful number with plenty of generous dark blueberry and plummy fruit, kirsch and cassis. More blue notes in the mouth, with lashings of fresh fruit and a touch of cracked black pepper and a good dose of grainy tannins that are lifted by a fresh line of acidity. Easy drinking stuff, with a vein of seriousness.
La Reverence is another project between David Rowledge and the talented Boris Kovac. The idea behind this range is to produce friendly, pure and approachable single varietal wines that are an excellent showcase of not only the variety, but the part of southern France in which they hail from.
