Laroche Petit Chablis (750ml)

Bright straw colour with a subtle greenish overtone to the edges and a watery hue. Elevated ripe pear and dried honey aromas mix with hints of lime, wet stone and faint notions of fresh herbs. A supple style the palate is detailed with fleshy pear, lime and light dried honey flavours which are carried by a stony mineral back drop. Subtle infusions of fresh herbs are also present on the brisk finish. Grapes are supplied by local growers who have a long term and in-depth relationship with Laroche. They work the whole year with the Laroche technical team. The expertise Laroche for an approachable wine, with beautiful freshness.
Nose: At the nose the wine is fruity, crisp and precise with notes of pear, honey and hints of lime.
Palate: Lively and mineral accent on layers of white fruit. Fresh finish.
About the Producer: The Laroche family has been making wine in Chablis since 1850. Michel Laroche, the fifth generation, arrived in 1967 to continue a long tradition of allowing the wine to express its unique origin: The True Chablis. Michel has witnessed significant changes in Chablis and is the first generation to make a living exclusively from producing and selling wine. Domaine Laroche is one of the largest vineyard owners in Burgundy, with offices located in the birthplace of Chablis: a ninth to sixteenth century listed monastery called l’Obédiencerie, where monks made the first Chablis.
