Château Badette La Fleur Badette Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (750ml)

The second wine of Château Badette. This is juicy, ripe, fresh, and shows concentration, freshness, and character with layers of ripe dark fruits, and earth.

Appearance: Garnet red in colour.

Nose: Aromas of raspberries and figs as well as toasted notes.

Taste: The wine is balanced and full of finesse. A more supple and accessible version of Château Badette, dominated by notes of black fruits, licorice, spices, and a slight woodiness.

Finish: Long and lingering length.

Food pairings: Pairs well with red meat & poultry.

About the producer: In the late 19th century, Château Badette was admired. In The Wines of Bordeaux, expert Edouard Féret described the estate as “exceptionally well maintained, and producing an average of 50 tonneaux of a delicate, soft, perfumed wine, perfectly preserved”.
