Warwick Estate Trilogy (750ml)

In 1986 Warwick Trilogy was released; a Bordeaux-style blend that has since become one of the flagships of the South African Wine Industry. Warwick Trilogy is recognized as an iconic wine.

Appearance: Intense ruby red.

Nose: Complex bouquet of fruit with red plum and blackberries dominant with further notes of black cherry and mulberry.

Taste: On the palate, the full-rounded feel of the well-ripened tannins slowly gives way to roasted almonds, vanilla, and coffee flavours.

Finish: It Is well supported by grippy powdery tannins which lead to a lingering fruity finish.

Food pairings: A great companion for most foods, including pizzas, pasta, and meat or chicken dishes, or enjoy on its own.

About the producer: Warwick Estate is a family-owned and run winery. Warwick matriarch Norma Ratcliffe was one of the first female winemakers in South Africa and her legacy is immortalized in the irrepressible Warwick ‘The First Lady’ Cabernet Sauvignon; one of South Africa’s leading wines.
