Dimple Deluxe 15YO Whisky (1 Litre)

This distinguished, deluxe Scotch is a subtle blend of 15-year-old whiskies. Its medium amber in colour, elegant, with some complexity, wood aromatics, and a light palate that finishes dry. Glenkinchie, a lowland distillery, features strongly in the blend and is no doubt responsible for a degree of Dimple's softness. Dimple 15-year-old has all of the roundness that you enjoy from a blended Scotch but also offers matured balance, complexity, and depth of character with every glass. 

Appearance: Elegant Medium Amber.

Nose: Medium-body with warming notes of spice and caramel.

Taste: Well-balanced with smooth notes of honey and toffee, a little smoke, and malted barley with just a hint of oak.

Finish: Short and there are notes of fudge and oak.

About the brand: Launched at the end of the 19th century, it became the deluxe, sophisticated brother to the standard Haig & Haig blend. Whether the name inspired the bottle or vice versa is unclear, but Dimple has always been packaged in a distinctive lozenge-shaped bottle with pinched sides like a collapsed pot still. In popular culture, Dimple was the preferred whisky of Walter White, in AMC’s TV series Breaking Bad.
