Godawan Fruit And Spice Single Malt 02 Whisky (700ml)

A Golden pale yellow liquid whose spicy intensity is brilliantly balanced with creamy vanilla notes. Enjoy a 60ml pour of Godawan with a single cube of ice and water served from a Terracotta Jar. This sustainable historical Indian serve ware keeps the water at an optimum temperature and adds an earthen character to the drink.
Born in Rajasthan, an extreme desert terrain that has been proudly preserved for centuries. Named after the great Indian Bustard, which symbolises this unique provenance made with the passion that reflects the desert and its people, experience the world standard in exquisite craftsmanship. 
The ex-bourbon casks selected for each batch of Godawan have been carefully filled with spirit distilled from 100% Indian-grown six-row barley, which is perfect for creating optimum flavours during distillation. 
Spirit maturation conditions are very different to other parts of the world; specifically temperature conditions of Alwar, Rajasthan helps create rich, robust and vibrant flavours. The craftsmanship behind the making comes alive by finishing using very special cask architecture of px sherry butts, cherry wood casks, virgin oak casks and ex-bourbon casks; meticulously seasoned with rare botanicals. 
Finally a non-chill filtration technique is employed, giving you a very authentic whisky flavour experience, making this dram special. 

Appearance:
Golden pale yellow. 

Nose:
A mix of soft fruit and matured wood followed by spicy notes, balanced by matured wood. 

Palate:
Soft fruity and mouth filling malt with moderate spice and warmth. 

Finish:
Moderate spicy and crisp dry finish. 

Cask Finish:
Cherry wood.
