A lovely sweet wine from the South-West with notes of delicious and original exotic fruits.

Appearance: Bright straw yellow wine with silver highlights.

Nose: An exuberant nose of candied lemon peels enhanced with a hint of white flowers and acacia honey. 

Taste: The palate presents an enveloping sweetness on the attack, immediately taken up by a salivating acidity. 

Finish: Subtly refreshed by slightly bitter notes of pamplemousses zest, leaves a fresh mouth calling for the next sip.

About the producer: Plaimont (established 1979) is a forward-thinking co-op, actually a grouping of five co-ops, based in the town of St-Mont about 50 km north of Pau in SW France. This ultra-reliable winery, which has an admirable focus on polishing the finer characteristics of the region's local grapes, consistently produces wines of character and charm across a huge range of styles and prices.
