Gaja Alteni di Brassica Langhe DOP (750ml)

Alteni di Brassica di Gaja is a great white wine that comes from pure Sauvignon grapes, obtained from vineyards located in the heart of the Langhe. The name derives from Alteni, small stone walls that once surrounded the plots, and Brassica, yellow flowers that cover the vineyards in spring.

Appearance: Intense colour with green hues. 

Nose: It shows notes of papaya, peach, sage, mint, tomato confit, limestone, and flint with a fresh lime finish.

Taste: It is round, soft, and creamy with a long, savoury finish and good acidity. 

Finish: The notes of lime and limestone also linger in the mouth.

About the producer: Located in Piedmont in northwestern Italy, the Gaja winery is widely considered to be one of the greatest estates in the world, producing coveted and collectable labels. The name originates from Alteni, small stone walls that once surrounded the plots of land, and the word Brassica, yellow flowers growing in the vineyards in spring.
