About the Producer: Chateau Timberlay, one of the oldest Chateaus in Bordeaux, produces Estate grown Bordeaux wines with an ecological and terroir driven philosophy. The vineyard sits directly at the 45th parallel, making it perfectly centred between the equator and North Pole creating the ideal terroir, while the soil combination of clay, limestone, and sand lend the grapes elegance and structure. The entire vineyard is farmed under the guidelines of Terra Vitis, a French organization that independently certifies compliance with sustainable vineyard practices.
